I really gotta share this one comment on my IMVU ava page someone posted about one of my IMVU products.

But seriously,are Christians now days so fundamentally terrified of the genital area that even the mere mention of PANTIES makes them shake with fear?Let's see how I wrote my product description:

"Contains full outfit with collar,top,panties,sleeves and boots."


Ok so I used the diminutive of "pants" which is "panties",did I miss something?
Is that like a bad word? It's bad enough that IMVU bows down to the every whim of conservative ultra-fanatics who demand that a dress has to have pants under it even if you don't see them and now they're taking over my inbox too *sigh* will it never end? I mean come on,the whole resurrection story might have been a boom like 2000 years ago,it's like a 2000 year old fandom with grown up people running around praying to wooden planks with corpses nailed on it ( credits to ~Olovni 's signature ) citing stuff from the bible (that was never meant to be taken literally) while stretching out to an invisible man that is supposed to live high above the stratocumulus perlucidus layers of earth.

Compared to "panties" I think half arsed wannabe-good-person-but-is-actually-a-bitch "Christianity" is the greater of two evils.BTW if there is a God,he probably reads your rotten insecure demented hypocrite mind so don't bother to act all nice.
Just look at the persons comment above,sounds like she really gave it up to find something she could say to put me off after stating how extremely awesome my products are and how much of a Christian she is.Very annoying even for a Christian.

Don't get me wrong,I have nothing against Christianity or any other religion for that matter,I'm quite spiritual myself,but I get really pissed off when someone uses it ax excuse to act like a jerk.

Svaka cast :D Ma religija je postala najvece zlo zato sto se ljudi kriju iza nje i koriste je kao izgovor za SVE. Nemam reci za taj komentar, devojka je puknuta :p Verovatno vise voli andjele bez gaca, harharhar.

';Panties' here means women's underwear rather than being a diminutive for pants ... which makes the person's comment even more amusing. Angels don't wear underwear? Why not? I'd think it would be more risque if they *didn't* wear underwear!

Ah well - I agree with what you said, the person was just being silly and using their religion as an excuse.

Sacuvaj me boze sadasnje percepcije hriscanstva (i religije uopste). U stvari, hriscanstvo nema smisla od sabora u Nikeji, kada su k'o na stocnom sajmu odlucivali koja ce jevandjelja uci u novi zavet a koja ne...cak i pod pretpostavkom da je Hrist postojao, i da mu se zaista desilo to sto kazu, i on bi bljuvao od gadjenja na ono sto se danas desava....

Just to make a stand as a Christian - I think angels are naked, but you can't walk around in just a pair of angel wings and call it a costume (as much as I'd like to sometimes XD), I think law enforcement would be a little ticked.

Contrary to the Christian stereotypes, I'll admit I'm far from perfect, and don't always try my hardest. I think it all depends on a person's denomination and personal morals and ideas and whatnot. It's really horrible sometimes because people like the girl who left you that comment ruin it for the rest of us.

Meh. I just wanted to let you know that we're not all like that guy from The Da Vinci Code, or even the people who call each other "brother" and "sister"
